Product: Oregano
All deliveries shall comply
in every respect to the requirements of the FD&C Act as amended and
regulations promulgated thereunder. In addition, the product shall comply with
the following specifications:
General Description: Oregano (Origanum
vulgare L. or Oregano spp)
has a bright green color, with a strong camphoraceous
aroma and a warm, pungent and slightly bitter taste. The mild Mediterranean type is distinctly
different from the more aromatic Mexican type.
Warmer climates produce the more pungent varieties.
