Powder
All deliveries shall comply
in every respect to the requirements of the FD&C Act as amended and regulations
promulgated thereunder. In addition, the product shall comply with
the following specifications:
General Description: Chili Powder is a blend of spices, predominantly
ground chili pepper, cumin, oregano and garlic powder. The odor is warm, spicy, aromatic, hearty and
persistent yet intense. The flavor is similar.
The blend is dark reddish-brown in color.

The physical and chemical tests shall be performed according
to the latest editions of AOAC or ASTA.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry atmosphere to prevent the caking and loss of the volatile fractions.
