Ground spices do not need any preparation. They can be added directly into batter or dough for delicious desserts including breads, cakes, cookies and flour based cookies. Whole spices can be ground or used in their natural form to flavor soups, stews, casseroles and curries.

Whole herbs and spices last longer than when they are ground or crushed . Freshness is most important factor when selecting a spice company. At AKFP our spices are ground fresh before we ship them to your facility. Please note that, as with seasonings if you do not detect an aroma after crushing or if they turn brown, the seasoning must be replaced. You can store herbs and spices, but they should be protected from air and light.
